As co-chairman of The Vibrant Visionaries Foundation, sponsored by Northeast Alabama Community College, Ann Hamilton works to fight the stigma facing artists from mental and physical challenges. In 2003, she along with other members of a special task force established this new art organization. In the fall of 2004, along with NACC, VV, held its first high school arts competition.
